#ESCAPED: How Malta Avoided ‘Nul Points’ In The Grand Final

In the final part of this series from Eurovision Ireland, we will be taking a look at the participating countries and their entries that have avoided the dreaded ‘Nul Points’ in the Grand Final – thanks to just one other participating country. Today we look at Malta.

2006

In 2006, Malta was represented by Fabrizio Faniello in Athens. “I Do” would have been awarded the dreaded Nul Points had it not been for the Albanian Jury awarding Malta just 1 point. Malta finished 24th/last.
