Welcome to the start of Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 week from Gliwice – however Day One doesn’t strictly take place in Gliwice!

No, the Opening Ceremony will be held in the neighbouring city of Katowice – the city where the delegations are based, as well as Eurovision Ireland.

The Opening Ceremony takes place from 15:00 GMT/16:00 CET and during the Ceremony, a draw will take place. Viki Gabor will draw her position in the running order and the countries performing first and last will also be drawn. The Opening Ceremony will be broadcast live both on junioreurovision.tv and TVP Info.

The Running Order for this year’s Contest will be announced shortly after the Opening Ceremony has taken place.
