#JESC19: When Does Your Country Rehearse?

TVP has today released the rehearsal schedule for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Gliwice, Poland. We will of course be there to bring you coverage of the Contest.

The first rehearsals will be what is known as closed rehearsals. Therefore on Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th, only the Delegations will have access to the rehearsals – this year, the Press won’t. Eurovision Ireland will therefore be unable to provide Live Blogs on these two days.

Thursday 21st – Second Rehearsals, Day One

  • 10:00 – 10:30 Albania
  • 10:30 – 11:00 Armenia
  • 11:00 – 11:30 Australia
  • 11:30 – 12:00 Belarus
  • 12:00 – 13:00 LUNCH
  • 13:00 – 13:30 France
  • 13:30 – 14:00 Georgia
  • 14:00 – 14:30 Ireland
  • 14:30 – 15:00 Italy
  • 15:00 – 15:30 Kazakhstan
  • 15:30 – 16:00 Malta

It is expected the First Rehearsals on Tuesday 19th, will resemble a similar schedule, however each country will have 40 minutes to rehearse, not 30 minutes.

Friday 22nd – Second Rehearsals, Day Two

  • 10:00 – 10:30 North Macedonia
  • 10:30 – 11:00 Poland
  • 11:00 – 11:30 Portugal
  • 11:30 – 12:00 Russia
  • 12:00 – 13:00 LUNCH
  • 13:00 – 13:30 Wales
  • 13:30 – 14:00 Serbia
  • 14:00 – 14:30 Spain
  • 14:30 – 15:00 The Netherlands
  • 15:00 – 15:30 Ukraine

It is expected the First Rehearsals on Wednesday 20th, will resemble a similar schedule, however each country will have 40 minutes to rehearse, not 30 minutes.

Saturday 23rd – Dress Rehearsals

  • 10:00 – 12:30 First Dress Rehearsal
  • 16:00 – 18:30 Jury Final

As usual, we will provide you with Live Blogs from Second Rehearsals, as well as the Dress Rehearsals too.
