BIRTHDAY: Lill Lindfors form Sweden is 69 today

We love people who can multi-task. If they can sing, write, dance, present, they’re a good old sort in our book.

Today’s birthday girl has done most of the above. She was one of the first to sing in our favourite TV show, and then play the role of genial hostess. It is of course Maj Lillemor ‘Lill’ Lindfors, who presented the scientifically-proven best contest ever. But in 1966 she palled up with Svante Thuresson to sing about a swineherd. Like you do. They gave their country its first ever runner-up spot, scoring three maxima. Ms Lindfors is a legend.
