Netta took part in Rising Star, a competition held in Israel to search for their next Eurovision representative. Rising Star took place between October of last year, through to February.

After ten audition rounds, a shortlisting round, six heats, a quarter final, semi final and the final, Netta was chosen to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest. Netta performed the following songs, in the following rounds:

• Audition 1 – Rude Boy
• Shortlisting – A-Ba-Ni-Bi
• Heat 1 – Hey Mama
• Quarter Final – Wannabe
• Semi Final – Beautiful
• Final – Kzat meshugat/Tik Tok/Gangnam Style
