This year, Romania has really stepped things up! To celebrate 100 years of the Romanian state and the union of Transylvania, Wallachia and Moldavia, Selecția Națională 2018 is going to MASSIVE with a whopping 60 acts all vying for that ticket to Lisbon!
Over the last few days, TVR has been narrowing down all the entries to their 60 semi-finalists who will compete in one of 5 semi-finals. The Top 3 from each semi, as chosen by a jury, will then progress to the final of Selecția Națională on February 25th. Out of these 15 acts, the Romanian public’s vote will count 100% – whoever they choose, is going to Eurovision 2018!
