“Fáilte go hÉirinn agus fáilte a chur roimh Eurovision Sóisearach 2015.”

We have to share our wonderful language with the people of Europe as the Irish are joining the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time.

TG4 in association with Adare Productions are beginning their search to #Discover Ireland’s entrant who will take part in Sofia. 5 televised shows will be broadcast on TG4 – 4 Semi Finals and a Grand Final.

The shows start on Sunday October 11th and will run each week with the final on November 8th. Trust us when we say there will be a few Surprises along the way! We will bring you all the viewing details for the shows next week – so don’t fret!

Eurovision Ireland caught up with Eurovision Winner and Judge for Junior Eurovision, Ms Niamh Kavanagh. We get the inside story on what Europe can expect from the Irish National Selection. As always we have a few giggles along the way!

We also get to practice our Irish language skills so pay attention as there will be a spot quiz at the end!

We hope you enjoy our chat with Niamh and make sure to come back for more behind the scenes news OR as we say in Irish “Tá súil againn go mbainfidh tú taitneamh as ár n-comhrá a dhéanamh le Niamh agus a dhéanamh cinnte chun teacht ar ais le haghaidh níos mó taobh thiar de na radhairc nuachta.”
