Interesting fact of the day number 3,512. On Saturday night, Norway will be performing the 1,200th song to be sung at a Saturday night final. In total, there have been over 1,400 songs, but some of these never made it to the Grand Final. Here are those other ’00’ songs from down the years.

100 – ‘T’en va pas’ – Esther Ofarim – Switzerland 1963

200 – ‘De troubadour’ – Lenny Kuhr – Netherlands 1969

300 – ‘Singing this song’ – Renato – Malta 1975

400 – ‘He hé m’sieurs et dames’ – Profil – France 1980

500 – ‘L’amour de ma vie’ – Sherisse Laurence – Luxembourg 1986

600 – ‘Há sempre alguém’ – Nucha – Portugal 1990

700 – ‘To nie já!’ – Edyta Górniak – Poland 1994

800 – ‘No quiero escuchar’ – Lydia – Spain 1999

900 – ‘Feeling alive’ – Stelios Konstantinos – Cyprus 2003

1,000 – ‘Visionary dream’ – Sopho – Georgia 2007

1,100 – ‘Madness of love’ – Raphael Gualazzi – Italy 2011

What’s your favourite from among these?
