Meet 2 of the Performers in the Serbian National Selection for Eurovision 2015.
The third and final act will be announced shortly as the Serbian National Final will be on February 14th – The Day of Love and cards and flowers and chocolates – Yes Valentine’s Day
2 names have now been confirmed and they are Danica Krstic and Bojana Stamenov.
Danica Krstic
Danica was the singer that entered the open auditions phase for the Serbian National Selection. To recap for you the selection process will be composed of 2 established singers and one newcomer.

Danica was the lucky singer who won the open audition audition phase.
Danica Krstic was born on the 25th.November 1995 in Kragujevac, Serbia. She’s been singing professionally since the age of five. Danica is a third grade student of the Kragujevac Music School and is a member of “Abrasevic” – the traditional and cultural centre of Balkan music.

She prefers ethno music and wishes to preserve traditional Balkan and Serbian heritage. Danica performed all throughout Serbia as a guest to the greatest names such as Jelena Tomasevic, Bilja Krstic, Djurdjevi stupovi. She participated at the opening of “Youth Worlds Olympiad” in Czech Republic She also performed at Brno 2004, at “Children sing hits”.
Danica had also various TV and Radio appearances. In 2008 shes recorded song from very popular serios, Ranjeni Orao and 2009 recorded song for serios ,,Grehovi njene Mame, Osvojeno prvo mesto u serijalu Sljivik Radio Televizija Srbije u kategoriji vokalni solista sa pesmom ,Kisa pada trava raste. We are expecting a rousing Balkan ballad from Danica in the Serbian National Final.
Bojana Stamenov
Bojana has risen to fame in Serbia rapidly. She took part in ‘Serbia’s Got Talent’ in Season 3 and came second. Now Bojana is a true Soul and RnB Diva. One of her idols is Chaka Khan and ‘I feel for you’ was her audition song in Serbia’s Got Talent. Well the woman can sing and ‘Shake what her Mama gave her’.

I would be hoping that her song in the Serbian National Final will be a funky song and not so typical of Serbian entries at Eurovision.
The Third Contestant
Now the third and final act to be announced for the Serbian National final is still to be announced but the speculation is that it will be Danijel Pavlovic, the half-brother of Marija Serifovic (Eurovision Winner 2007)
He already tried to represent Serbia in Eurovision in 2009, with the song “H8er” together with Milica Majstorovic.
Thankfully in recent years he has dropped the fur coats and hats and is now a modern singer known for his ethno/pop ballads like this one.

So there you have it.
Who would be your preferred singer for Serbia? Could any of them have an international appeal to win Eurovision for Serbia again? Will it be a battle of the Balkan Ballads in Serbia again?
