When you say Eurovision and ‘Primadonna’ then there is one singer that springs to mind. That has to be the Russian Diva Alla Pugacheva.

She released the song earlier this year and it slipped passed our radar as we were deep in Conchita Wurst mode. However the song ‘Nas Biut My Letaem or Beat Us – We Fly’ is a classic Pugacheva song. Strong and dramatic with her distinctive voice.

She is a major superstar in Russia and came to our attention when she represented Russia at Eurovision in 1997 with the wonderful ‘Primadonna’ that placed 15th in the final – highly underrated.

Eurovision needs it’s ‘Primadonnas’.
