United Kingdom – We loved Molly from the UK at Eurovision this year. From our first meeting in Amsterdam to Copenhagen she was keeping her fingers crossed that she would get to play at the world-famous Glastonbury Festival.
It seems as if dreams do come true! Molly was on the ‘BBC Introducing’ list and that is where she was discovered and thankfully selected for Eurovision 2014. With her subsequent recording contract with Warner Music – it was feared that she might be ineligible to perform at Glastonbury as part of the BBC’s stage for unsigned artists.
The BBC have stood by their girl and given Molly a 30 minute slot on the ‘BBC Introducing Stage’. The schedule shows Molly performing after BBC DJ’s Pete Tong and Annie Mac who will get the party started.
If one wanted to know if the BBC were invested in Eurovision then this is an emphatic endorsement and another step in introducing the contest to a younger audience.

Bravo Molly!

Good luck Molly. Also noted that our very own Dervish are playing on the Avalon stage proving that their career didn’t necessarily die after their Eurovision appearance and last place.
Well i didn’t notice Dervish there Martin. Well spotted 😉
