The Netherlands – Last year saw the return of Dutch Eurovision Fortunes when Anouk took the 4 times winning country back to the Top 10 at the contest. On her return she got the ‘Big Band’ treatment of her song “Birds”. Well it would have been rude if The Common Linnets didn’t get as big if not bigger reception.

The ‘Jon Bird Big Band’ did the honours again this year with their full Swing Band. The video was recorded at the Grey Horse, Kingston and features Nicki Hutchins – Tenor Sax, Bob McKay – Tenor Sax and Richard Luck – Piano. It makes one miss the orchestra at Eurovision!

We also came across this beautiful sign language version of the song from Mirjam STolk that she published on April 2nd. Simple yet effective.
