It may have taken Richard nine attempts to get through the festival that is Maltasong, but make no mistake once he has negotiated his way through, he is presenting a song that has every chance of winning this Semi Final.  There are several journos around me that are making mutterings that this will also be in with a chance at the sharp end of the contest proper and winning the whole darn thing.

The band look so good on stage, there are very good camera angles throughout the whole performance, Richard is clearly focussed on performing this well and knows where the camera is and that is going to be so important come Thursday.  The country style lilt of the song is going to resonate with both the juries, for whom this song will tick all of their boxes, and the televoters who are going to see a smiley happy performance that will make even the hardened Eurovision Fan smile and sing along with the chorus.

This is infectious and likeable and works well.  Make no mistake, this is dangerous!!
