Finland were represented at Eurovision 2013 by the highly energetic Krista Siegfrids. Larger than life both on and off the stage that got “tongues wagging” – literally at the contest. She is now stripped bare for her new release.
“Can You See Me?” is her new song and is a stripped back performance from the “Marry Me” character we saw in Malmo. Gone are the elaborate costumes and stage persona. What is left is Krista in a long baggy jumper and nothing else. A simple song that can be taken on several levels. At its purist, it is a song of the loss of a loved one and the question you always ask “Can You See Me” from where ever you are?
A simple video of Krista standing alone by a misty filled lake. What you are left with is a pure vocal performance that has that sound that you are speaking yet on the verge of crying. The perfect song for Krista to release after the dance tracks “Marry Me” and “Amen”.
Certainly worth your time to take a quick listen
