Today actress/singer/model and reality tv star Nadia Ford spoke about her ambitions to Represent Ireland at Eurovision and follow in the footsteps of Niamh Kavanagh and Jedward.

In an interview with the Herlad.ie the 23 year old said “I’m in the panto (Snow White) with Niamh Kavanagh, who’s obviously a Eurovision winner, and I love listening to all her amazing stories. It’s always good to look at new challenges and I’m a massive Eurovision fan — it looks like great fun.”

Nadia is currently in Snow White the Pantomime at Dublin’s Tivoli Theatre where she performs twice a day with Niamh Kavanagh the 1993 Winner and 2010 finalist. It seems that Niamh has enticed Nadia to look at Eurovision following her own amazing experiences at the contest.

Her run in the pantomime will come to a close on January 20th and then she will be going to the UK where several talent agencies have expressed interest in representing her. Eurovision would be the ultimate calling card.

However the Eurovision connection does not just finish there as the writer and director of the “Snow White” pantomime is none other that Karl Droderick. If you know your eurovision then you will remember that Karl wrote Ireland’s entry to the Eurovision “Love” for Donna and Joe back in 2005. I am sure he has told her of his experience at the contest too.

She has come to notice on Irish TV in the reality show “Celebrity Salon” where famous people become beauty salon workers. It has been a big success on TV 3 in Ireland. Here is Nadia in interview recently discussing the show and her future plans.
