Cyprus – Eurovision Ireland has been informed by the Cypriot delegation that the island nation has made the decision to return to Eurovision in 2015 and Junior Eurovision this November in Malta.

After a hiatus from Eurovision in 2014 and Junior Eurovision since 2009 the country will return to both contests. How will the songs and artists be selected? That decision is still to be confirmed but we will bring you that news once confirmed.

Cyprus have placed 5th three times at Eurovision – the first time in 1982 with the ultimate Diva Anna Vissi and the song ‘Mono I Agapi’.

In Junior Eurovision they have finished 8th on 2 occasions, the first being 2004 when Marios Tofi performed the song ‘Oneira’.
