GPB, the Georgian national broadcaster, have postponed the commencement of Ranina 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
ORIGINALLY scheduled to commence last night, GPB have revealed that broadcasts of Ranina 2026 will now begin on Saturday 28th March. GPB’s schedule had undergone last-minute changes, due to the official mourning period for the death of Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia. Ranina 2026 will revert back to one show a week, which was last seen in 2024 and will be broadcast at 18:00 GMT/19:00 CET.
