Bogdan from Eurovision Ireland continues this series. What’s his third choice, and what’s the story behind it?

Selma – If I Had Your Love

This song takes me back to 2005, when I was at the countryside nursing a broken heart. We didn’t have internet there, so I kept calling my sister just to check the results. I still remember the thrill when she told me Romania had come third. It felt huge! I was sad I didn’t see it live, but when I finally returned home, the first thing I did was run to my computer to watch every performance. It’s a bittersweet but warm memory.
