
NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, have announced the wildcard acts ahead of MGP 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
The eight MGP 2026 wildcard acts and when their duels will take place, were announced earlier. The remaining finalist will be decided through a series of radio duels between eight artists on Nitimen, from tomorrow, with the final finalist announced on Monday 26th January. The eight wildcard acts are:
- Skrellex – “Into the Wild” – January 20th
- EMMY – “Sykt fin” (Very nice) – January 20th
- GOTHMINISTER ft. Thomas Jenssen – “The spell” – January 21st
- Vika Anonymous – “Har du itt vørri på toten?” (Do you have a knife on your belt?) – January 21st
- Aranja – “Pysjamas song” (Pyjamas song) – January 22nd
- Sander Silva & Victorjus – “Fritt fall” (Free fall) – January 22nd
- Raylee – “Where did you friend go” – January 23rd
- Thomas Jenssen – “Smalltown” – January 23rd
Two artists will face off each day, with one of them advancing to the next round. The voting window will be open for 24 hours from 10:00 CET to 10:00 CET the following day. Voting is open on delta.nrk.no. The four winners of the duels from Tuesday to Friday will meet for new duels on Saturday and Sunday. The last two artists will then face each other on Monday morning.
