The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, has relaunched the official website and pre-registration for tickets, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
The official website can now be found at eurovision.com, while the old one, eurovision.tv, will be switched off over the coming week. From the home page of the new official website, register for a Eurofan account, which will lead to ticket pre-registration for Vienna.
The official ticketing website, oeticket, displayed some commonly asked Frequently Asked Questions:
When will ticket sales start?
“The first wave of ticket sales will start on Tuesday 13 January 2026 at 13:00 CET. To participate in the sale, you must register at eurovision.com and oeticket.com. Once your registration has been confirmed on eurovision.com and oeticket.com, you will receive an e-mail 48 hours before the start of the sale with an access code and the link to the sale. Please note: this is the first ticket sales wave. During the upcoming period more waves will take place. Specific dates for other waves will follow, so keep an eye on your email if you weren’t able to buy tickets in the first wave. You can only register once on eurovision.com and oeticket.com until 18 December 2025, at 11:59 p.m. This registration is valid for all sales waves. Important: Only register on the official websites eurovision.com and oeticket.com. Tickets purchased on unofficial platforms will not be accepted.”
How can I buy tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026?

The registration period is open between Monday, 24 November and Thursday, 18 December 2025 at 23:59 CET. Please note: You can only register once on eurovision.com until 18 December 2025 at 23:59 CET. This registration is valid for all sales waves.”
How do I register to buy tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest?
“Registration for the ticket sales phases of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is open between Monday, 24 November and Thursday, 18 December 2025 at 23:59 CET.
Phase 1: Creating a Eurofan account
To register for the ticket sales phases of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, you must create a Eurofan account on eurovision.com. You will then receive an email to confirm your email address. Please note that you can only complete your registration by following the further instructions sent to the email address you provided. You will then receive an email with a link to the official Austrian ticketing partner oeticket to complete your registration.
Phase 2: Registration with oeticket
To complete your advance ticket registration, you must register for the Eurovision Song Contest ticket sale at oeticket.com and create an oeticket customer account. Please note that you must use the same email address as for your EuroFan account. (If an oeticket customer account already exists with this email address, you do not need to create a customer account).
Phase 3: Authentication
eurovision.com and oeticket will authenticate your registration. This involves checking whether your registration meets the requirements for fair ticket sales. The data from your registration and your oeticket customer account will be compared to exclude illegal resellers or so-called ticket bots. Duplicate or conspicuous entries will be removed.
Phase 4: Status update
Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an email after verification on 9 January 2026, informing you that you can participate in ticket sales on Tuesday, 13 January 2026 at 13:00 CET. If you are eligible to participate in the sale, you will receive a purchase link and your unique, non-transferable code via your EuroFan account 48 hours before the start of the first sales wave. Please note: Receiving a purchase link and code does not guarantee tickets. Ticket availability is limited. Sales are on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.”
Why do I need to register to be able to participate in the ticket sale waves?
“Registration is being used to give all those who wish to come to the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna fair access to tickets. This allows commercial buyers, bots, or illegal resellers to be excluded so that tickets go to genuine fans. Registration does not guarantee you tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest as we expect the demand to be higher than the availability. Please note: You can only register once on eurovision.com until 18 December at 23:59 CET. This registration is valid for all sales waves.”
Which shows will I be able to buy tickets for?
“There will be tickets available for a total of nine (9) shows. You will be able to buy tickets for the Live Broadcast Shows (on 12, 14 and 16 May) as well as the Afternoon Preview Shows (on 12, 14, 16 May) and Evening Preview Shows (on 11, 13 and 15 May). More information about the shows can be found here.”
I made a typo when entering my email address. Can I register again?
“If you made a typing error, you can register again with the correct e-mail address on eurovision.com and oeticket.com. You will then receive an e-mail confirmation of your registration. To complete the registration, you must confirm the registration. Please follow the instructions sent to your e-mail address.”
What happens during authentication? / What is authentication?
“The Eurovision Song Contest oeticket authenticates your registration. They will check whether your registration meets the requirements for fair ticket sales. They will check the data from your registration to exclude resellers or so-called ticket bots. Duplicate entries will be removed. Only if authentication is successful, will you receive an email that you will be given the opportunity to participate in the ticket sale with further info on how to do so.”
How many access codes do I get when I successfully register?
“If your registration was successful, you will receive one (1) access code at your email address.”
Do I have more of an opportunity to get a ticket if I register earlier?
“No, registering early during the registration window will not give you any advantage. Just make sure you register before the registration window closes. Please note, registration does not guarantee tickets. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. The registration closes on Thursday, 18 December at 23:59 CET.”
How will the queue system work when the ticket sale begins?
“Visitors who open the link to the order page on Tuesday, 13 January 2026 at 13:00 CET will be allocated a random spot in the waiting queue by the system. Visitors who open the link at 13:01 CET will join at the end of the queue. Visiting the website, the day before sales start doesn’t guarantee you will get first place in the queue. You are advised not to refresh the ticket page, or you will lose your position and be placed at the back of the queue. When you get through the queue you will need to enter your access code to be able to book tickets. Please note: your code is unique and personal. If tickets are booked with another email address than the one we have in our registration system attached to that code, your tickets can be cancelled. You need to personalise your tickets during the buying process. So please keep the names of anyone accompanying you ready if you buy more than one ticket. Re-personalisation opens in the upcoming months if you need to change the name on the ticket(s).”
What is the maximum number of tickets you can buy for the Eurovision Song Contest?
“A maximum of 4 tickets for all shows can be purchased per account. You are able to buy tickets for multiple shows, but at a maximum of four (4) tickets in total per order/code/email address/person. For example, if you book two (2) tickets in one (1) order, your code will become invalid, as the code is only valid for one order. You cannot purchase another two (2) tickets in a second order. If you would like to book seats for different shows as part of your four (4) tickets, you must do so in one order BEFORE making payment. Your code will become invalid once you make your payment. Information on registration and how to get an access code can be found in these FAQs. Please note that you can only register once for all the ticket sale waves; there will be no new registration period for new waves. Please note, the access code doesn’t guarantee you tickets!”
Can I transfer my access code to someone else?
“No, codes are non-transferable and cannot be shared.”
Can I enter multiple codes?
“No. Only one (1) code can be processed during each order. An order is defined as any booking (1-4 tickets) that has been completed with payment. It is important to note that only one order is possible per code. If you would like to book seats for different shows within your four (4) tickets, you must do so in one order BEFORE making payment. Your code will expire once payment has been made. For example, if you book two (2) tickets in one (1) order, your code will lose its validity because you already booked two (2) tickets and the code is only valid for one (1) order; you cannot book four (4) tickets in two (2) separate orders. If you want to have tickets for different shows, you need to book these in one (1) order with a maximum of four (4) tickets in total.”
Can I join the next waves as well if I already bought tickets?
“No, you cannot join any upcoming sales if you have already bought tickets during an earlier wave. Even if you only bought two (2) tickets, your code is only valid for one (1) order max. If you didn’t buy, or weren’t able to buy, any tickets in one of the previous waves, you will have access to the upcoming waves. More information will follow when the dates are known.”
I accidentally deleted the e-mail with the access code.
“Please check the deleted e-mail folder to see if you can restore it. If this does not work, please contact our customer service department via eurofan@eurovision.com.”
I did not receive an access code and sales link.
“Please check the spam file in your email account and in case there is no email, please contact us via eurofan@eurovision.com.”
How much time do I have to finalise my order?
