On the lead up to the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, we will be taking a look back at participating countries past and present, while we will also look at the top three Acts to ‘Shine Bright’ from all the previous Contests. Today we are looking at the Bucharest Contest from 2006. The top three Acts to ‘Shine Bright’ at Bucharest 2006 were:

Russia, 1st: Tolmachevy Sisters, “Vesenniy Jazz” (154 points)

Belarus, 2nd: Andrey Kunets, “Noviy den” (129 points)

Sweden, 3rd: Molly Sandén, “Det finaste någon kan få” (116 points)
