KAN, the Israeli national broadcaster, have confirmed their intention to participate in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest has been raised as a concern by some of the member broadcasters of the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union. The EBU has committed to a ‘wider discussion’ regarding Israel’s participation in the contest. KAN had the following to say:
“The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation is currently preparing for the next Eurovision Song Contest in Austria.”
