Omroep Gelderland, the Dutch regional broadcaster, have announced their representative for the Regio Songfestival 2025, in Arnhem.

Omroep Gelderland have announced that the rock band De Droadneagels, will represent Gelderland at the 2025 Regio Songfestival. The song that they will perform will be revealed in due course. Confirming that they will perform in the Achterhoek dialect, De Droadneagels had the following to say:

“We all know Dutch, but we speak dialect with friends. That is the language in which we think and the language that therefore comes closest to your feelings. The language in which we can express ourselves best. And we all just think it is beautiful and have always listened to this kind of music ourselves.”
