
It has been announced that the song submission period for the Pan-ArcticVision Contest 2025 is now open.
The song submission period, which is open until Thursday 1st May, with submissions to be made HERE for the regions stated below. Artists wishing to compete from outside of these regions will be selected via another route. The participating regions for 2025 are:
- Alaska (USA) – Anchorage Museum
- Faroe Islands – Norðurlandahúsið
- Greenland – Katuaq Culture Centre
- Nord Norge – Norway
- Norra Sverige – Sweden – Bd Pop Norrbotten
- Nunavut (Canada) – Alianait Arts Festival
- Sápmi – Finland/Norway/Sweden
- Yukon & Northwest Territories (Canada)
The rules for 2025 are as follows:
- Songs can be performed in any genre but cannot exceed 4 minutes in length
- The contest is not looking for ‘Eurovision songs’, songs should be performed in local languages, highlighting culture and styles. Lyrics can include local issues and be political
- This year acts can be either soloists or duos, however, if you are a larger group reach out to organises to discuss your participation
