RAC1, the Catalan regional broadcaster, have reported a possible return for Andorra, at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
TV3, the Catalan regional broadcaster, is reported to be in talks with RTVA, the Andorran national broadcaster, regarding potential collaboration on a return to Eurovision 2026. TV3 organises Eufòria, a singing competition for sixteen artists and it is suggested the winner should go on to represent Andorra. Neither TV3 or RTVA have yet to make an official comment on the news.
TV3 has attempted to gain EBU membership during April 2019, however the EBU declined in July 2019, stating the following:
“The EBU does not have, nor has it ever had, any regional station of a member state of the International Telecommunication Union or the Council of Europe as an independent member. EBU statutes do not offer this possibility.”
