RTSH, the Albanian national broadcaster, has confirmed participation at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.

With participation confirmed, RTSH revealed the submission period for Junior Fest 2024 – closing on Saturday 31st August. For those interested, applications can be made HERE. A committee will go through all the applications and will choose the finalists for Junior Fest 2024, which will see a new, yet to be announced format. The national selection rules are as follows:

• Applications must include lyrics, personal details of the singer(s) and composer(s) and a photo of the singer(s).
• Singers must be born before November 16, 2015 and after November 17, 2009.
• The song must be an original and previously unreleased creation.
• Song must be between 2:45 and 3:00 in length.
• If there are extra elements in the stage performance of the song (backing singers, dancers, props, special costumes, etc.), these must be highlighted in the application.
