
With ‘Heroes’ as the theme of the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice, we will be celebrating the Heroes from previous editions of the Contest. Today, we look at the first set of Heroes from Ukraine.
Ukraine debuted at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest. Nazar Slyusarchuk participated with “Khlopchyk Rock ‘n’ Roll”, finishing in 9th place and 58 points.
Ilona Halytska represented Ukraine at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam. Ilona Halytska participated with “Urok hlamuru”, finishing in 9th place and 56 points.
Viktoria Petryk represented Ukraine at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol. Viktoria Petryk participated with “Matrosy”, finishing in 2nd place and 135 points.
Andranik Alexanyan represented Ukraine at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv. Andranik Alexanyan participated with “Try topoli, try surmy”, finishing in 5th place and 89 points.
Yuliya Gurska represented Ukraine at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk. Yuliya Gurska participated with “Miy litak”, finishing in 14th place and 28 points.
