TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

Moldova have participated at the Contest ten times, however they have not participated since 2014. TRM has also stated that, while they are not returning to the Contest this year, they will be reconsidering participation again in future years. Daria Capatina, Head of the Moldovan Delegation at Eurovision, had the following to say:

“For this year, Moldova will not participate in Junior Eurovision.”
