
RTL, the Luxembourg national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice. This follows a return to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024, after a 30 year break.
While Czechia have yet to participate in the Contest, they have also not broadcast any edition of the Contest. Dave Gloesener, RTL’s Head of Radio and Project manager, had the following to say:
“Luxembourg will not participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.”
