ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

While Austria have yet to participate in the Contest, they have also not broadcast any edition of the Contest. Claudia Zinkl, spokesperson for ORF, had the following to say:

“Unfortunately, Austria will not participate in Junior Eurovision 2023.”
