UMK 2024 will once again be an open competition, with the live final on a yet-to-be-determined date in February. Demos can be submitted by artists between Monday 21st and Thursday 24th August. UMK selected entries must have a final edit by Friday 20th October.
Lead singers can enter up to three songs, but only one song can continue through to the competition. For an entry to be valid, at least one songwriter and one lead singer must have Finnish citizenship or permanent residence in Finland.
