
With a new representative selected for Ukraine at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest this weekend, during Vidbir 2023, let’s take a look back at the alumni that they will be joining.
Ani Lorak represented Ukraine at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest, in Belgrade, Serbia. She participated with “Shady Lady”, finishing in 2nd place and 230 points.
Svetlana Loboda represented Ukraine at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, in Moscow, Russia. She participated with “Be My Valentine! (Anti-Crisis Girl)”, finishing in 12th place and 76 points.
Alyosha represented Ukraine at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, in Oslo, Norway. She participated with “Sweet People”, finishing in 10th place and 108 points.
Mika Newton represented Ukraine at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, in Dusseldorf, Germany. She participated with “Angel”, finishing in 4th place and 159 points.
Gaitana represented Ukraine at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, in Baku, Azerbaijan. She participated with “Be My Guest”, finishing in 15th place and 65 points.
