🇨🇾 #JESC22: Remembering Junior Eurovision 2008

Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the previous editions of the Contest. Today, we celebrate Limassol 2008.

On Saturday 22nd November 2008, the 6th Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the Spyros Kyprianou Athletic Center, in Limassol, Cyprus. The show was hosted by Alex Michael and Sophia Paraskeva. The Interval Act was provided by Dima Bilan, Evridiki and Dimitris Korgialas.

The following countries participated: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, North Macedonia (then known as FYR Macedonia), Romania, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine. Portugal and Sweden didn’t return for the 2008 edition.
