Tonight, the 2022 UEFA Women’s European Championship kick’s off and we will be celebrating it this year, with a Eurovision twist.

Today sees Match Day 1 and Game 1 of the tournament. England (UK) will be playing Austria from 20:00 GMT/21:00 CET. So which female Eurovision stars are we celebrating today?

England (UK) – SuRie (2018)

SuRie represented the United Kingdom at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, in Lisbon, Portugal. She finished in 24th place, with “Storm”.

Austria – Paenda (2019)

Paenda represented Austria at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, in Tel Aviv, Israel. She finished in the Semi Final, 17th place, with “Limits”.
