Christer Björkman, the Swedish representative at the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest and former Melodifestivalen producer, has received the Kings Medal in Sweden.

Christer Björkman had the following to say on receiving the Kings Medal:

“I feel deeply proud that His Majesty the King is honouring me with this medal. It will truly be a WOW moment to go to the royal palace on Friday to receive it.”
