Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, along with the Saku Grand Hall, have decided to remove a live audience from the Semi Final shows. Ticket holders for the Semi Finals will be offered a refund or discounted tickets for the Grand Final – although it is unclear whether or not there will be a live audience for the Grand Final yet.
It has also been announced that Maarja-Liis Ilus and Priit Loog will be hosting both the Semi Finals. Maarja-Liis Ilus represented Estonia at both the 1996 and 1997 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest.
