
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we are continuing with Azerbaijan’s story.
Albania debuted at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Igzidora Gjeta participated with “Kam një këngë vetëm për ju”, finishing in 12th and last place, with 35 points.
After a three year wait, Albania returned to the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Mishela Rapo participated with “Dambaje”, finishing in 5th place (their best position) and 93 points.
Klesta Qehaja represented Albania at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Valletta, Malta. She participated with “Besoj”, finishing in 13th place and 38 points.
Ana Kodra represented Albania at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She participated with “Don’t Touch My Tree”, finishing in 13th place and 67 points.
