
With a new winner been crowned this week at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, let’s take a look back at the alumni that they will be joining. Today, it’s the champions from 2004, 2010 and 2016.
2004 – María Isabel “Antes muerta que sencilla”
María Isabel took victory for Spain at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Lillehammer, Norway. María performed “Antes muerta que sencilla” and finished 31 points ahead of the United Kingdom.
2010 – Vladimir Arzumanyan “Mama”
Vladimir Arzumanyan took victory for Armenia at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus. Vladimir performed “Mama” and finished 1 point ahead of Russia.
2016 – Mariam Mamadashvili “Mzeo”
Mariam Mamadashvili took victory for Georgia at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Valletta, Malta. Mariam performed “Mzeo” and finished 7 points ahead of Armenia.
