
Ivan Eismont, the Director General of BTRC, Belarusian national broadcaster, has revealed their suspension of their European Broadcasting Union full membership, will be lifted on July 1st, 2024. Officially, that means the first Eurovision event that BTRC can participate in, will be the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
In regards to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris, the EBU Executive Board do have the power to lift the current suspension and allow the nation to take part – as long as notable deadlines can be met.
