ITV, the Azerbaijani national broadcaster, hopes to be in Paris for the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, stating:

“We hope to be able to participate in the next edition of Junior Eurovision.”

Azerbaijan have participated three times – at the 2012, 2013 & 2018 Contests. 2013 was their most successful participation to date, with Rustam Karimov performing “Me and My Guitar”, finishing in 7th place, with 66 points.
