
The UEFA 2020 European Championships are here after a postponement of one year – more commonly known as Euro 2020. Each day, we will upload tracks into our Jukebox articles, to accompany the matches played on that day. Today sees two matches – The Netherlands vs. Czech Republic and Belgium vs. Portugal.
The Netherlands – “Een beetje”
Teddy Scholten represented The Netherlands at the 1959 Eurovision Song Contest in Cannes, France. Teddy sang “Een beetje” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 21 points.
Czech Republic – “My Turn”
Martina Bárta represented Czech Republic at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Martina sang “My Turn” and finished in 13th place in the semi final, with a total of 83 points.
Belgium – “City Lights”
Blanche represented Belgium at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Blanche sang “City Lights” and finished in 4th place, with a total of 363 points.
Portugal – “Um grande, grande amor”
José Cid represented Portugal at the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest in The Hague, The Netherlands. José Cid sang “Um grande, grande amor” and finished in 7th place, with a total of 71 points.
