
The UEFA 2020 European Championships are here after a postponement of one year – more commonly known as Euro 2020. Each day, we will upload tracks into our Jukebox articles, to accompany the matches played on that day. Today sees two matches – Hungary vs. Portugal and France vs. Germany.
Hungary – “Kinek mondjam el vétkeimet?”
Friderika Bayer represented Hungary at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland. Friderika sang “Kinek mondjam el vétkeimet?” and finished in 4th place, with a total of 122 points.
Portugal – “Amar pelos dois”
Salvador Sobral represented Portugal at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Salvador sang “Amar pelos dois” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 758 points.
France – “L’oiseau et l’enfant”
Marie Myriam represented France at the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest in London, the United Kingdom. Marie sang “L’oiseau et l’enfant” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 136 points.
Germany – “Satellite”
Lena represented Germany at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, Norway. Lena sang “Satellite” and finished in 1st place, with a total of 246 points.
