During a 2021 Eurovision Song Contest press conference held yesterday, by Alexandra Redde-Amiel, the French Head of Delegation, it was announced that the search had begun to find their representative for the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest – which France is hosting.

While it is yet to be confirmed, it is expected that both the artist and the song will be internally selected. During the press conference yesterday, it was also announced that Carla, the French 2019 representative, would be the French spokesperson at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
