
The 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place on Sunday 24th November. The event was hosted at Gliwice Arena by Aleksander Sikora, Ida Nowakowska and Roksana Wegiel. The top 3 were:
1st: Poland – 278 points
2nd: Kazakhstan – 227 points
3rd: Spain – 212 points
Spain returned to the Contest. Azerbaijan and Israel both withdrew from the Contest. This took the number of participating countries to nineteen.
So who was awarded the famous 12 points? Seven sets of twelve points were awarded to Kazakhstan; four sets to The Netherlands; two sets to Poland and Spain; with one set going to Australia, Italy, North Macedonia and Serbia.
