After debuting in Eurovision Choir 2019, BBC Alba has confirmed that they will not be taking Scotland to the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Poland – even though initial talks had taken place with the European Broadcasting Union previously.

BBC Alba had the following to say:

“No, we have no plans to participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.”
