Israel will not be participating at this year’s Eurovision Young Musicians, to be held in Zagreb, Croatia. Israel are only the second country to officially announce their withdrawal, following Estonia.

Israel debuted at the Contest back in 1986. The nation returned for their second and to date, last participation in 2018, when the Contest was held in Edinburgh.
