ITALY: And the Sanremo winner is…

The 70th Sanremo Festival is over, and Diodato has won with the song Fai rumore. After a combination of public voting, he/she/they will (hopefully) be representing RAI at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam in May.

Francesco Gabbani was runner-up, with Pinguini Tattici Nucleari third
