Previously, we had ANNOUNCED that Finland was going back to an open selection for UMK. During the submission period, 426 songs were received by YLE.

On 21st January 2020, the Six Acts that will be taking part in UMK 2020 will be announced in a Press Conference. The Grand Final of UMK will take place on Saturday 7th March, in Tampere.
