Following strong reports that Madonna will be part of the interval act during the final in Tel Aviv, USA fans will be in for a shock. Logo TV, owned by Viacom, will not be showing this year’s Contest.
Logo TV first showed the Contest in 2016 – the first time it’d been shown live in the USA. After Netta’s victory for Israel last year, Logo TV reported an average of 74,000 traditional television viewers. This doesn’t include other Logo TV platforms.
Whether another US broadcaster will pick up the rights is yet to be announced. Earlier this year, Canadian broadcaster OMNI announced they had the rights to the 2019 Contest after several years of no live broadcast in the country.

But why Logo TV will not broadcast Eurovision this year? Is there any serious reason for that? Of course, there are other alternatives how to watch the contest https://medium.com/@grant.cerr/how-to-watch-eurovision-in-the-us-2019-free-705712ed0ab4, but still, I would like to know the reason for canceling.
