BIRTHDAY: Jaana Pelkonen from Finland is 42 today

What’s this? A birthday and it isn’t a singer? Well we like to mix things up a little sometimes. So we’ve picked a presenter.

Jaana did her stuff in Finland in 2007. She wasn’t alone – only Swedes do that these days, but she was assisted by Mikko Leppilampi. Don’t you just love Finnish names?

As you see in the attached video, birthday girl Jaana and her countryman have been voted the best hosts of the 2000s. No mean feat when you look at some of their competition.

I think their win was justified.
